We are a fourth generation farm located in the small town of Clearspring, Indiana. Clearspring is located approximately 13 miles northwest of Brownstown in Jackson County.
In 2023, Jimmy Baute took a bold step in the family’s agricultural journey by launching a freezer beef company. While the family had long been raising feeder cattle, Jimmy saw an opportunity to take their work further—offering consumers a direct source of high-quality beef. With the support of his aunt and uncle, Amanda & John, Clearspring Cattle Company was born.
